Charity & Community Work
Paget High has a very strong commitment to raising funds for a number of local and national charities. Our intent is to empower our students, through engagement with our local, national and international communities we are helping them make a difference. By seeing the impact they can have, they are learning the values of global citizenship and are motivated to make a difference with what they have learnt.

We encourage students with their ideas and support them with their money raising aspirations. In the academic year 2022/3 we raised over £2000 for good causes identified by Student Leadership Committee.

During 2022-2023 our students received 5 Circle of life Award from Disney and the organisation Young Citizens. The Circle of Life Award has been set up by Disney Theatrical Productions in partnership with Young Citizens to shine a light on and celebrate some of the amazing work young people in schools do to make a positive contribution to their community.
This project aims to capture the values of Disney’s The Lion King and to inspire our youngest citizens to become the next generation of community leaders.
The projects included:
Period Poverty
Child on Child Abuse
Creation and launch of a Y7 Freshers Fayre
Speak to the Ribbon Campaign for LGBTQ+ students
